Pricing with confidence: a change of perspective

Pricing is a topic which is guaranteed to bring solopreneurs out in a sweat - especially the idea of raising fees or prices and it is something I talk about all the time.

As with so much of the work I do, the key to success is mindset. If you struggle to convey the value of your product or service because of your own limiting beliefs, this will reflect in your ability to earn what you need.

If this is you right now, a change of perspective can be a great place to start.

Think about some products or services you have bought in the last month or so. From a pricing perspective, ask yourself:

1. What products or services did you feel were good value?


2. How long have you been loyal to particular brands that you buy repeatedly from?


3. What differentiates them in terms of their pricing?


4. For products or services that you are willing to pay more for, how does price factor in?

This kind of reflective exercise is so helpful in uncovering the beliefs which can hold us back in business, and it is a great place to start if you want to build confidence to earn more.
